My unit 3 project is evidence of my growth and competence in the use of technology because it was a more challenging powerpoint. I enjoyed creating a powerpoint with more pictures rather than words. I also enjoyed the challenge of describing the pictures with words, and how each picture was relevant to my topic. I thought finding pictures to add to the powerpoint was the hardest part, because the pictures needed to be relevant to the information I was presenting, interesting to look at, and placed in places that would create interest/questions. In the end, the pictures successfully delivered my message across to my audience. My powerpoint also enhanced my speech. The next time I create a powerpoint, I would spend less time finding pictures and take more time to relate my pictures to my words.

Unit 4 Prezi
My crossword is evidence of my growth and competence in the use of technology because it was the first excel spreadsheet i have ever used. I enjoyed figuring out how to use excel to complete certain tasks. I enjoyed the simplicity of excel, and how it worked with the user. Like many new things, learning how to use the software was difficult. The colors and text styles were the most difficult to figure out. The finished product and the text settings really worked in the end. The next time I make a crossword on excel, I would try to find a way to cut the time to format the text.

My unit 4 prezi is evidence of my growth and competence in the use of technology because it was the first prezi i had ever used. I enjoyed learning the features of the software and how it differed from powerpoint. I especially enjoyed the easy addition of video clips and the motion paths. The controls for prezi were sort of hard to figure out, because it used a different way of editing. The final product was very nice in the end, because of the features prezi provided. The next time i create a prezi, i would probably add more videos clips and make the prezi more interactive.

My third works cited demonstrates my search strategies and my capabilities in evaluating sources. I enjoyed learning the information presented to me in my research. I found some of the information difficult to verify. Some information on the same topic differed from site to site. I thought the information I collected worked well in my powerpoint, my speech, and my proccess paper. The next time I create a works cited, I would use even more sources to verify my information.
